Don't ask for a soft copy of a doc!!!
Mark put together a will/trust for us. Work was ok/standard. We later needed a soft copy of a doc that was part of that service (had lost the email previously sent that had contained it). Instead of re-fowarding that previous email or at minimum letting me know there'd be a charge and a substantia...
Sorry that you were disappointed with the service. As you know, I did the original work for you more than four years ago. Recently, you asked for additional copies of your documents and they were provided the same day. Four years ago, I provided you with hard copies and soft copies of the documents. At that time, as I tell all clients, "[Y]ou have been provided with original copies of all of your documents. There was no charge for the scanning of the above documents. There will be additional charges if you request other documents to be scanned and/or emailed." I provided you with the documents and sent you a bill for the services you requested. You called to complain and I issued a credit immediately and I sent you a revised bill where you owed nothing. Following that credit being issued, you made your first bad review on Google. I called your family to find out why you had done that when I had issued you a credit. You have not returned my call. Sorry, but running a law practice is very expensive. When people ask me to provide as service, I have to charge them if I am going to stay in business. In your case, I did waive the charge and still got a bad review. I'm sorry that you did not value the good service that was provided.
