Nice guy but don't barter with him
I was recommended to him by my sister because he represented a dear friend of hers. I was not able to come up with his retainer so he agreed to barter with me to photograph two of his daughters bat mitzvah's and a shoot with the kids Ginnie pig's later. I'm out $15,000. Without a single filing, no me...

RE: Judge Leslie Morgan ~ Look for someone else.
I used Leslie Morgan as a Private Judge in my divorce. My attorney encouraged me to hire Judge Morgan; it would make the divorce very fast. Instead, it took 4 years to get the decree, 5 years to get division settled and it's been almost 10 years since the divorce began and my ex still owes me > $15...
"Les Morgan is a well-respected private judge in the family law community. One quality that sets him apart is how easy he makes the process for the parties. The public courts take 6-12 weeks to process the final uncontested stipulated judgment documents. Les Morgan can process everything within a week. This is invaluable for many of my clients. Another thing that sets him apart is how sharp he is. Many private judges won't point out little inconsistencies or clerical errors to the attorneys who are the draftspersons. Les will point it out, get permission to correct it, and never miss a beat. My clients love working with him. The total cost is relatively modest at something like $1000 for the judge approval and courier fees for filing. Of course, it is not free like the public court judges are, but some clients would rather spend $1000 than wait 6-12 weeks and risk the inconsistent processing guidelines of the public courts."
