File the I-130 (do this asap). Green card sponsorship for a child even with the help of the Child Status Protection Act is about 18 months away.

Yes, you may work on OPT with two employers. Check with your school to update your I-20. Yes, both may file H1B petitions on your behalf.

If he has applied for an immigrant visa at a US consulate abroad, 3 is yes.
4 is yes, since immigrant petitions have been filed for him.
