If a B visitor is admitted a honeymoon B1 visit to the US and return home is not a legal problem.
Will I get arrested by ICE if I travel domestically as a permanent resident with a alcohol monitoring bracelet?

Attorney Boyer stated the regulations well. As you know, traveling in your circumstance is a risk.

A person timely filing an L2 extension in the US will be out of status, but in a period of authorized stay.

A US citizen may sponsor a parent. A US Citizen spouse may not sponsor an in-law.
