Biography
I moved to the United States from India when I was a young child. My parents got divorced in the late early 1990s, where divorce was not heard of in the South Asian culture. My parents' divorce instilled in me a passion for family law, with a commitment to doing what is best for the entire family, not just one party. I understand the stigma that is placed on divorce in various cultures, and more specifically, how divorce can affect children. As a result, my litigation style is centered on looking at the whole picture and getting the best results for my clients, which at times is not just a financial gain for the parties involved. I also place a great deal of emphasis on co-parenting and safeguarding the children in order to help families cope with the emotions of a divorce.
