Born and raised outside Philadelphia, Matt is a graduate of Columbia University (cum laude, 1987) and Temple University Beasley School of Law (on Law Review and with multiple awards, in 1996). In between college and law school, Matt was a sommelier and wine buyer at the famed “21” Club in Manhattan. After two years in a large corporate practice in Philadelphia, Matt moved to Napa to become a wine industry lawyer and raise a family with his wife in the heart of wine country, where he focuses on business, real property, alcohol beverage and land use law, assisting clients on setting and achieving their business goals and avoiding or managing pitfalls and disputes.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
"Matt Eisenberg is at once a sharp business legal intellect and a pillar of the Napa Valley community. I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Matt now for several years in connection with significant corporate matters, as well as arts & entertainment matters involving intellectual property issues.
Matt has deep experience and understanding in matters of business law, ABC compliance, land use, arts and philanthropy, to name a few. I actively work with Matt on numerous client projects to this very day.
Notably, as it relates to his clients, Matt is one of the most steadfast and loyal attorneys I have ever met - an extremely valuable resource. Perhaps most importantly, Matt contributes significantly to the Napa Valley community through pro bono work and charitable giving.
He's a stand-up fellow, and I am thankful to be able to call him a friend."
