Joe has broad experience in the field of employee benefits. With significant independent fiduciary experience and as a recognized employee benefits attorney, he is knowledgeable regarding a variety of issues relating to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended (“ERISA”). Joe received a 2012 California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year Award in the field of employee benefits from California Lawyer magazine.

Joe formed ERISA Expert Services, LLC ("EES") to provide expert witness and independent fiduciary services relating to employee benefit plans, including retirement and health and welfare plans. EES is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. 

As an attorney with Garofolo & Ramsdell, LLP, Joe can assist clients with a diverse range of ERISA matters, including the following:
