Hi, I'm Bill Garvey. I've been practicing law in California since 1994. For the last 10 years I have been the General Counsel and Vice President, Corporate Development at two companies, Actuate Corporation and Rackable Systems, Inc. I helped both Actuate and Rackable Systems complete their IPOs. As General Counsel I have responsibility for a wide range of legal matters. As VP Corporate Development I take the lead in driving M&A activities.
