Rupinder Kaur

Whatever you do, DO NOT HIRE Rupinder Kaur of American Law Group. She is unprofessional, does not return emails or phone calls, and will take your money and run. She's late on filing paperwork, misses appointments regularly, and will stop communicating outright. She does not follow up on what she say...s she is going to do. I should have believed the bad reviews before I hired her. Such a waste of my money. Take our word for it. Find another attorney!

I hired a divorce attorney (Rupinder Kaur) in March of 2022 after I had already filed for divorce and served my ex-wife. I ended up entering into a contract with Rupinder Kaur, and paid her $4500 upfront. This attorney said that she would try to settle with the other party, and would represent m...e. I proposed a settlement offer (an amount of money, and payment plan) to my attorney to prepare to present to the other party. In addition, I prepared all of the paperwork that was meant to be filed with the court (paystubs, income declaration, etc...) and shared it with my attorney, so she could file it with the court. Come, a few months later (June), I find out from the other party that not only has she failed to file the paperwork, she failed to file that she was representing me to the court. The entire intervening time, when I was receiving documents from the court, I was under the impression that my attorney was handling the situation. The other party seeked an order from the court for me to file the paperwork. Not only was this the case, she had failed to make an offer for a settlement to the other party. Her conduct cost me well over $10k in legal fees partly because Rupinder lawyer failed to respond in a timely manner and dragged on the case.

One of my friends hired her and she dragged her case indefinitely, asked for more money irrespective of she hired her for one time fees. She didn’t do her job at all, you can not contact her by any way, no email response, no way to call her, it’s pathetic. My friend is having tough time with her , sh...e messed up her case when it was a clear win.
