Biography
Courtney’s practice focuses on Insurance, Construction Defect, Mold & Water Damage, and Products Liability. Prior to entering the legal profession, Courtney had a successful career in catastrophe insurance claims adjustment.
Courtney graduated from the UC Davis School of Law where she earned the Public Service Certificate. While at UC Davis, Courtney was an intern at the California Attorney General’s office and at the Solano County District Attorney’s office. She was the Communications & Circulations Editor of the UC Davis Journal of Juvenile Law & Policy, the Prosecution Liaison for the King Hall Criminal Law Association, and a member of the Trial Practice Honors Board. Courtney also worked as a research assistant for Professor of Law, Dean Rex R. Perschbacher on the third edition of The United States Legal System, An Introduction.
Courtney is the Secretary of the Contra Costa County Bar Association Women’s Section and on the Local Control and Accountability Plan committee for the Martinez Unified School District.
