I initially hired this attorney to prepare and serve a 3-Day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit, for which I paid $400. I subsequently discussed having him review a lease agreement and repayment addendum, and was instructed to contact the office once the tenant and I reached an agreement. I emailed both d...ocuments on a Sunday and called Monday to confirm receipt. Despite following up, I received no communication regarding the next steps. When I called again several days later, I was informed that an additional $250 consultation would be required. To be clear, my concern was never about paying for legal services. I understand that an attorney’s time and expertise come at a cost. My disappointment was with the lack of transparency and communication. The additional consultation fee and scheduling requirements could have been explained during our initial conversation or when I called to confirm receipt. I subsequently emailed the office requesting clarification regarding what the consultation fee included, whether document revisions would be covered, and the anticipated turnaround time. I received no response. Throughout my interactions, I also felt that conversations with the attorney were rushed, leaving limited opportunity to thoroughly discuss my concerns. As a healthcare professional, I understand the importance of clear communication, professionalism, and follow-through. Unfortunately, those qualities were lacking in my experience with this office. While I cannot speak to the attorney’s legal abilities beyond the services I received, I was disappointed with the overall client experience and have decided to seek legal representation elsewhere.
