Elizabeth Leigh Hurwitz

I worked with Beth Hurwitz and had a very bad experience. She is a young lawyer, but I thought her enthusiasm might make up for her inexperience. Unfortunately, the other side's more sophisticated attorney took advantage of her at nearly every turn. Beth didn't understand the law well enough and w...as repeatedly stalled by what seemed to me to be fairly simple legal issues. The bigger problem is that that she turned out to be self-serving and more than a little dishonest. She over-billed me by thousands of dollars and now seems to be hiding behind some kind of call-center to avoid repaying the money that she took. I had to take her to small claims court to get her to return the money. I easily won the case, but still she's not complying with the Court Order to pay on the judgment. Frustrating. I'm still working through the process, but have to advise anyone else considering working with her to steer far clear.
