If you want an aggressive, intelligent divorce lawyer, see Elaine.

I found Elaine Harrison's name on line. Divorce for Men caught my eye. I had been married for 35 years and wasn't sure where to start. Elaine was pro-active in my case and we didn't spend any time waiting for my wife's attorney to get anything going. Elaine subpoenaed records from my wife's emplo...yer, arranged for an order to divide our pensions, and explained each step to me beforehand. Elaine was aggressive in court and when we met with my wife and her attorney to try to settle. The whole divorce was handled expertly from beginning to end. I would recommend Elaine to anyone needing an aggressive and competent attorney.

Great Lawyer

Elaine J. Harrison represented me in my divorce. I was married for 16 years and needed an attorney who understood all the complex issues of family law. Ms. Harrison proved to be that attorney. My fromer wife and I had a home together, several retirement plans and possible spousal support as my ex-...wife had medical problems. I was advised every step of the way. very patiently, of my rights and also my ex-wife's rights. Nothing was sugar coated to get me to retain Ms. Harrison as my attorney. It was necessary to appear in court several times because my ex would not that I had any rights. Elaine Harrison aggressively represented me. She was very calm, collected, and analytical in presenting my case to the judge. Response to my calls and emails were within timely fashion. Billing was fair and accurate. Court dates were continued a couple times, but that had a lot to do with my ex-wife's attorney, and I never felt that this was done to get extra fees. Proceeds from the sale of the house were deposited in Ms. Harrison's Attorney Trust account, which were promptly disbursed to my ex and I, once the judge made the decision as to how they were to be distributed. And we are talking about 6 figures each. I wholeheartedly recommend Ms Harrison to anyone needing sound advise and strong representation in a divorce

Wife kicks me out into the streets. Divorce lawyer leaves me there!

Already in shock and mourning about my wife's diagnosis of stage-4 cancer, my wife decides to divorce me after nearly 30-years together. I became homeless. We had careers, children and a home. At the time, I was working at home as a house-husband. My income was from Soc. Sec. Disability due to Bipol...ar Depression and ADHD. My accountant wife was my Payee. Out of my divorce money she paid for Elaine but not enough for me to have minimal shelter such as a "Sleeper Room". This led me to acquire a criminal record for the first time in my life, due to very serious and unfounded accusations about me. Now I am a convicted felon with 2 "Strikes"! This never, ever would have happened if I had a roof over my head! Was that asking for too much? Isn't that what I paid for? Isn't housing one of the most basic and fundamental issues during a divorce? Forgive me dear reader if I expected too much from my divorce attorney. Divorce and criminal law procedures where not classes I ever took at college. I was in great need of help and Elaine could have made more money. During the custody hearing Elaine let them say and do what ever THEY wanted without question or challenge of any kind. Weeks later, after firing her for incompetence and neglect, she sent a letter to the other lawyer essentially joining their side against me! At the age of 56, I must say this has been the shock of my life. And our poor children? They weren't allowed to have any contact with me (5 years!) during this, their time of greatest need. I don't know if they will ever heal. During High School graduation, one of my children was recognized on stage for having survived the worst crisis of anyone at school. I also know a previous client of hers who has experienced the same level of gross and shameful negligence. BUYER BEWARE!
