Prior to private practice, I was a federal and state prosecutor for over a decade where I obtained successful outcomes in over 30 trials and handled hundred of contested hearings. That experience shapes how I defend every client: I understand how investigations are built, how charging decisions are made, and where the government's case is weakest. I pursue the best outcome available. I negotiate resolutions when it serves my client, and pursue trial when it doesn't.

My practice focuses on defending all criminal matters. I specialize in financial crimes such as fraud, embezzlement, grand theft, and money laundering, and extend to the full range of criminal defense, including assault, battery, DUI, vandalism, environmental offenses, and juvenile matters. I also advise witnesses, subjects, victims, and targets early in the investigative process, often well before charges are filed.
