Mr. Samuels is an excellent attorney and I highly recommend him. Ed has represented me through DUI and other charges. A few months back I got arrested for a DUI. I went to Ed through a friend's recommendation. I could not have been happier to have hired him. There are a lot dishonest lawyers out there who will try to capitalize on your fear of a conviction and charge you exorbitant rates for mediocre work. Ed's pric...ing is extremely fair and he was 100% pragmatic and realistic from the beginning. He doesn't sugar coat it but at the same time does everything in his power to help you. Because of him my case was thrown out both at the DMV and criminal court. If you're ever in trouble with the law, Ed's your man.

Ed is a fantastic lawyer and my experience with him could not have been better. I had never before had any issue with "the law" but was cited for a DUI on Halloween (2012)..which completely caught me off guard. I had no idea what to do or how to handle it. Ed took care of everything and I could not h...ave been happier picking him. I was in total shell shock and really lucked out finding him. I honestly don't know what I would have done without Ed! He was so patient and spent a lot of time talking to my mom and I about the process (I literally knew nothing about it). After hiring him he was really communicative and kept me informed as the process moved forward too. My case was pretty straight forward (although not completely...I definitely could not have navigated it on my own) but I talked to someone in my alcohol course who had a really complicated situation and he raved about Ed as well. Talking to people in my course also, Ed is very reasonably priced. He is very hard working and was always available to answer my questions as well. In addition, about a year later I had to provide my disposition for a job (background check..and needed it immediately!) and he went straight to the court and faxed it to my employer! It was a lifesaver. Obviously getting a DUI is a pretty unfortunate situation to be in and to make matters worse, dealing with the criminal court and DMV is very very complicated. I would never recommend going through it without a lawyer...I just don't know how I could have gotten through it without Ed. He's been doing this for a long time, knows everything and can make the process understandable and manageable, I highly recommend Ed as a lawyer! I normally would never write a review but Ed was so great during the whole process and then recently went so out of his way to get me this additional information (a year later!) I hope it helps other people who are in a similar situation pick Ed, you can't go wrong! I'll definitely be hiring him again in a year or so when I am eligible for it to be expunged.

I had a slightly unusual DUI. I had taken a prescription sleep medicine that caused me to get up out of bed in an altered state of consciousness and drive my car. I hired Mr. Samuels to represent me. He arranged on short notice for a qualified neurologist to testify, should we go to trial ( we did... not) At pre-trial, Mr Samuels spoke to the prosecutor, and an agreement was reached where the DUI charges would be totally dropped. Saving me from having a DUI conviction on my record.
