Zelikha J. Dost

Ms. Dost focuses her legal practice on family law, including divorce, custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, pre and post marital agreements, and domestic violence restraining orders. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Dost was a teacher with the San Mateo and Sequoia Union High School Districts. Although she found teaching to be rewarding, she decided to pursue law so she could further impact the lives of families through alternative avenues.

Ms. Dost is licensed to practice law in California and has extensive experience advocating for her clients needs through such difficult times. Ms. Dost is a member of the California Young Lawyers Association. Ms. Dost received the Witkin and CALI Award in Community Property, as well as a CALI Award in Family Law. She was also a member of the Honors Lawyering Program in law school.

Prior to forming Garvin & Dost LLP, Ms. Dost earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of California, Davis and both a Master’s Degree in Education and a Teaching Credential from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In the fall of 2013, she clerked for Hon. Michael I. Begert at the Unified Family Court in San Francisco. Ms. Dost received her Juris Doctorate with Honors and a Family Law Specialization Certificate from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2015.

In her free time, Ms. Dost enjoys yoga and walks with her family and their dog.
