The court is allowed to grant a motion for judgment on the pleadings with or without leave to amend.

Im being sue by a debt collector, im currently on disability. owed 3800, they will accept a lump sum of 2000. go to court/pay

You may be able to try and set aside the judgment depending on the circumstances. Act quick and talk to a local attorney.

The judgment is good for ten years and can be renewed for another ten years.
