Companies can no longer file cap subject petitions. Unless you have time left from H-1B from the past, you will wait until next year.

Since the Saudi consulate will not have a copy of your petition, the company will file I-824. There is quite a fee associated with this application.

You will be in F-1 until Oct 1 when your status will automatically change to H-1B.
