Robert Gaffney received his Juris Doctor Degree from University of California, HastingsCollege of the Law in 1980. Mr. Gaffneyis an attorney licensed to practice in the State of California and is certifiedby the California State Bar Association as a Specialist in Immigration andNationality Law. He is a long-standingmember of the Immigration and Nationality Law panel of the Lawyer ReferralService of the San Francisco Bar Association. Mr. Gaffney is honored to have been selected through peer-review as oneof only 5% of practicing attorney’s selected to the list of Super Lawyers ofNorthern California.
Mr.Gaffney received his B. A. degree inChinese Studies, with highest honors, from the University of California in 1973. He attended the University of Michigan,Center for Chinese Studies as a National Defense Foreign Language Fellowbetween 1973 and 1976. He is a long-time member of the Association of AsianStudies and amember of the San Francisco-Shanghai Sister City Committee.
