If I could hold all client meetings around a kitchen table with a bowl of spaghetti in the middle, I would. The kitchen and the family meal are the heart of a home; a client’s personal interests, goals and emotions are the heart of estate planning. The reason I practice in the area of trusts, estates, probate and tax law is two-fold: one, the intricacies of the law intrigue me and feed my love of problem solving; and two, the personal connections I establish with my clients are humbling and gratifying. I am an Attorney and Counselor at Law – two titles I hold with great regard.
We live in a DIY world. Information is ubiquitous and companies have worked to systemize and monetize supposedly DIY areas of law like mine. As a result, they are doing people a great disservice for these areas are not about fill-in-the-blank, cookie cutter plans. They are about understanding our clients’ values, about appreciating family dynamics, about uncovering underlying interests that influence decisions, about asking the questions our clients never thought to consider and then counseling them on their options once they are considering them, about listening to everyone at the table and hearing them, especially when viewpoints differ (and they will, and that is ok), about learning what will bring peace of mind to our clients, and about discussing topics with our clients that may cause us discomfort, but that ultimately touch us all.
I have built a practice on this premise. I continually strive to hone my knowledge of the law and my ability to know my clients on a deeper level. I am currently pursuing a dual LLM in Taxation and Estate Planning to ensure that I can offer my clients the best solution for their individual needs. Additionally, I recently completed my Certification in Mediation – a practice that promotes and exemplifies the personal understanding of all parties at the table. I am always working to uphold both aspects of the title Attorney and Counselor at law.

Compassionate and professional
I worked with Kelsey first in a difficult family situation for which she'd paired up as a secondary with another lawyer. The situation did not go as I'd wished (through no fault of her own), but I'd noticed her calm yet friendly professionalism from the get-go, so decided to hire her for my own estat...

"I wholeheartedly endorse Ms. Quaranto. She is both an exceptionally talented lawyer and a wonderful person to work with. Over the course of several estate planning, trust, and probate administration matters, Ms. Quaranto has shown an incredible aptitude for the law. Besides her legal expertise, she is both compassionate to clients and has a great sense of humor—which is a necessary attribute for an estate planning attorney. I highly recommend Ms. Quaranto if you are in need of legal services."
