I am a native San Franciscan. The San Francisco Bay Area is a beautiful place to live, and I believe whoever wants to live here should.  I practice family law.  I am a certified family law specialist. 

 Family law entails child custody/visitation, spousal and child support, property characterization and division, and debt characterization and division.  

 I believe it is very important to protect the family--even if spouses are dissolving their marriage.  In protecting the family, I first attempt resolution of disputes before litigation.  That the spouses have respect for each other is very important for the out of court process to succeed.  Negotiation is then key.  It is very important to try and keep conflict down. When there is high conflict between the spouses, the family suffers. No one wins.

 As a parent you have certain rights and obligations. I will explain those rights and obligations to you.

 If I am unable to resolve the dispute through negotiation, then we go to court and litigate the dispute.
