Professional Courtesy Costs Nothing.

Disappointing Professionalism, Communication, and Treatment of a Prospective Client I am extremely disappointed by my experience with attorney Adam Wolf, whom I previously knew personally in San Francisco. I approached Mr. Wolf seeking legal assistance with serious matters involving ADA protect...ions, disability rights, LGBTQ discrimination, and alleged discriminatory conduct by a university. Despite my attempts to communicate by text message and email, Mr. Wolf never called me, responded to my personal messages, requested documentation, asked questions about the circumstances, or arranged a consultation. He never investigated, evaluated, or handled my legal matter. More recently, I received a rejection of my request for representation, which only reinforced my concerns about his lack of responsiveness. To be clear, my criticism is not that he declined representation. Attorneys are entitled to decline cases. My concern is the complete absence of meaningful communication, professional courtesy, and consideration toward someone seeking assistance with serious civil rights issues. Having previously known Mr. Wolf socially, I found this experience especially disappointing. Prospective clients, including individuals seeking protection under the Americans with Disabilities Act and civil rights laws, deserve respectful communication regardless of whether an attorney accepts their case. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Mr. Wolf to prospective clients who value responsiveness, professionalism, and respectful treatment. Professional Courtesy Costs Nothing

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
