One month in, I'm already thousands of dollars down. Granted, I understand the situation I am in is not ideal, but I definitely did not expect to be a few thousand dollars down in a month. As I definitely do not have thousands of dollars in my bank account, he right off the bat recommended me to file for bankruptcy in my case. It was abrupt and shocking of course. I did not appreciate not knowing other options or exploring other ideas. I ended up switching lawyers and having a much better experience.
