Paul Escobosa

Paul Escobosa’s years of experience as a corporate CEO, CFO and CMO prior to launching his law career give him a particularly keen insight into the practicalities and complexities of business. Since beginning his legal practice in 1975, he has counseled businesses of all sizes to reach optimal positions that preserve their integrity—and their value.

From startups to large private companies, Paul helps his clients start, buy, sell, and operate businesses of nearly every type, with deep experience in the automotive, food and beverage, and hospitality industries, as well as "people" businesses like law, accounting, architecture, advertising and marketing, consulting and engineering firms.

He’s an expert at shepherding entrepreneurs through the corporate, partnership, and limited liability formation process. He has also counseled many prominent Bay Area executives in connection with their employment and compensation arrangements.

Paul works throughout the U.S., and Europe—he has lived in Brussels, Rome and London—and is skilled in complex cross-border transactions.
