Plaintiff Eva Hube was struck by a car in San Francisco's Mission District by a car traveling at 20-25 miles per hour, propelling her onto the hood of Defendant's car. The impact of her body broke the ... windshield, and she was thrown approximately 15 feet. Eva sustained cervical and thoracic spine fractures and anterior cruciate ligament injuries to her knees. Although her recovery was excellent, she still suffers from ongoing problems with her knees and will likely require surgery to repair one of both of her ACLs. The matter settled before trial.
