My family and I hired this attorney for an illegal lockout. We were awarded a settlement which the defendant paid this attorney within a week of the verdict. This attorney kept our settlement for over a year making excuses saying she didn’t receive any monies. After waiting over a year I called the o...pposing attorney asking if he had sent the settlement to this attorney. He asked me if I had received it when I said no he said you can verify our obligations were met by checking court records. I immediately went to the courts and discovered she was in fact paid over a year ago. When I confronted her with the facts she paid our portion the same day saying if I filed a complaint with the Bar Association it would take even longer to get our settlement.
