I don't understand the basis of Kathleen's statements of March 2, 2025. I am sorry that she feels this way. I have not represented her since 2021 so the timing of this post is odd to me. I did represent Kathleen in 2020 in an estate litigation matter but I withdrew from the case on July 28, 2021 on amicable terms. (San Mateo County Superior Court Case No. 20-PRO-00210). She thereafter hired another law firm who handled the case exclusively through trial, which took place on February 14, 2023. During that 19 month period ( after I withdrew) I did not represent Kathleen in any aspect of that case and did not participate as her counsel at trial. I did however testify favorably on her behalf as a witness. Unfortunately, for Kathleen, the judge ruled against her. In the judge's Statement of Decision there was no mention or implication that I was somehow responsible for her loss. Quite the contrary. That Statement of Decision can be found on the Court website under Case No. 20-PRO-00210. I can only presume that Kathleen's comments of March 2, 2025 are somehow related to that case. I am an attorney in good standing and have practiced law without any disciplinary issues for 33 years. I have many repeat clients who have had very complimentary things to say about me. Again, I am at a loss as to why Kathleen made the statements she made and did so almost 4 years after our legal relationship ended. I wish her well, however.
