Darrin Scott Brown

DARRIN is a fund services and tax partner in our Silicon Valley office. Darrin advises funds in all stages of their operations, including the preparation of offering materials, negotiating with investors regarding fund formation matters, drafting partnership, limited liability company and other governance agreements and counseling fund managers on all aspects of day-to-day operations. Darrin has extensive experience in formation of China-focused private equity and venture capital funds. Darrin is broadly experienced with partnership taxation and structuring tax efficient commercial and transactional structures.

Darrin earned a J.D., with a concentration in taxation, from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a B.S.B.A., cum laude, in Finance from Georgetown University. Darrin is admitted to practice in California.
