As both an attorney and executive, I know first-hand that prevention and early intervention are the best legal and business strategies to avoid costly diversion of resources from our main goals.  As a mediator, I know that win-win solutions to disputes often can be achieved quickly and economically.

I have been practicing law for 6 years, after a business career as a Fortune 500 executive, a corporate CEO, an entrepreneur, a consultant, and a non-profit leader.  I've successfully led organizations through crisis, stress, rapid growth, and change. 

I've served as a board member and officer of numerous non-profit organizations in human services and the arts across the country, as well as serving as a county Juvenile Justice Commissioner.  I have a special interest in nonprofit organizations, which often lack basic legal advice to prevent problems and keep them focused on their mission.
