Lauren Taylor Rios

Attorney Lauren Rios’ estate planning practice focuses on helping families navigate the estate planning process to secure a lasting legacy for their loved ones. She understands that estate planning is a process, meaning that many clients (who may have outdated estate planning documents) will need updates at some time in their future. That’s why Lauren is comfortable assisting clients from all different family backgrounds.

Lauren graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University, where she received the Amos Dana Award for Distinction in Public Service. Lauren continued her journey as a Santa Clara Bronco and graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2014. During law school, she was the top scorer in two of her legal analysis, research, and writing courses. She received numerous accolades, including receiving CALI and Witkin awards for distinction in her law courses. She clerked for the Honorable L. Michael Clark, Superior Court Judicial Officer in Santa Clara County and interned with the Santa Clara County Office of the County Counsel in their Juvenile Dependency Unit. It was during her time with the County Counsel’s Office where she saw many children go through the under-funded foster care system. It was through this experience that made her realize all parents need proper estate planning to ensure their children do not end up in the broken foster care system.

After graduation, Lauren had a brief foray in family law before settling in estate planning. She practiced in an estate planning firm before opening her own practice in 2018. Lauren Rios established her estate planning process on the philosophy that everyday people deserve access to the exemplary services of a big firm, but with personal touch of a smaller firm. This belief is reflected in her delivery provided to her clients in the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding communities.

Overall, Lauren focuses exclusively on estate planning matters because she loves the relief her services bring to her clients and their families. To her, there’s nothing more rewarding than helping clients protect their family and preserve their legacy.
Lauren is also a California licensed real estate agent (License ID 02029289) and is commissioned as a notary public (Commission No. 2231880). Most importantly, Lauren is the proud mother of an adorable and precocious toddler who keeps her on her toes. Lauren spends her free time with her husband, son and rambunctious English Labrador.
