very helpful

I am Salvador. I am from Mexico. I am very happy to say that I am writing few good words for a through gentleman who also happens to be my attorney, Ashwani Bhakhri. I was in the United STATES for 16 years. I went to another attorney in San Jose before contacting Ashwani Bhakhri. He was of no help. M...r. Bhakhri successfully concluded my immigration case in less than six months. He is a most honest person I have ever met in my life. He is too human. He was quite concerned about my health issues. He kept me fully informed. His staff is excellent. I recently went to Mexico to get my migration papers. I had no trouble. It happened exactly the way Mr. Bhakhri told me. I am now a Lawful Permanent Resident. Many thanks to Mr. Bhakhri and his staff and request people to consult this office for immigration related problems. A most knowledgeable attorney! love him. His charges very reasonable. Recommend him to all. God Bless this office.

Mr. Bhakhri stopped my Final Order of Deportation!!!

I am in USA since 1994. I married someone in 1997 for GC only, I was issued GC and had it for 4yrs but during my final interview the immigration officer figured out that this is a fake marriage. I immediately got detained by ICE. I hired Martin Gujardo which was a huge mistake. Not only he charged me... lots of money but got my case denied. I was placed in removal proceedings. He immediately applied for asylum. my case went to BIA then to 9th circuit twice. While I was waiting for the decision from 9th circuit, Gujardo got into trouble & lost his license due to malpractice. I then hired Ricci & Sprouls. They charged me good amount of money & did nothing on case which only resulted in getting final deportation order in Dec 2015 for me. I consulted 5 different attorney's & none of them wants to take my case. They all told me that I have reached the end of the rope. There was no other way of me staying in US for 9th circuit court found me guilty in marriage fraud. I gave up and was about to flea to Canada. My good friend talked me into going to see Mr. Bhakhri. I spoke to Mr. Bhakhri and at 1st he also told me that I have no way of staying in USA and that he could not help me in any way. I had some documents with me including my final order of deportation awaiting for bag & baggage letter. Mr. Bhakhri asked me to leave my file with him & he will read my file to see if he could find any loop holes to keep me here in USA. Meantime I received my bag & baggage letter in which I was instructed to turn myself in on 03/14/16 to ICE office. Mr. Bhakri filed U-Visa on my behalf. I was told by Mr. Bhakhri to go to ICE office as Stated in the letter. On my birthday (3/11/16) at 8:30pm Mr. Bhakhri called me and gave me the best b/day present, telling me that he received the U-Visa Receipt which he filed on 3/1/16. He told me to stop by his office B4 I go to ICE office & I did. I went to ICE office & to my surprise I was told by ICE officer that I will not be detained or deported only coz they just received my U-Visa application notice from VSC. All these happened within 10days only because of Mr. Bhakhri's hard work. He is an excellent attorney and has excellent personality. Not to mention his office staff especially Suman L. Singh who has pleasant attitude and extremely helpful. Now the waiting period started for me, hopefully I will be receiving my approval soon. I highly recommend everyone to contact Mr. Bhakhri's office for any or ALL ur immigration needs.

I got my green card today

I am happy today. My name is Thalia. I am from Mexico. I have been in the US since 1994. I got my green card today. I thank you attorney Bhakhri for excellant job. I always believed attorney Bhakhri. He is good lawyer. He is honest, candid, and is someone who would talk straight. If your case is bad,... he would like. If you have a chance to win, he would tell you. He does not take people's money by making false promises. I have heard from my friends about other lawyers, very bad stuff. People lost money, they lost time, they got nothing. I have referred people to attorney bhakhri, everybody is happy. Attorney Bhakhri was always around to talk to me. I walked into his office without appointment many many times, he would talk to me. I am happy today. I love his office staff. Bhakhri means "success." I never thought that I would get my green card. Now I am planning to go to Mexico to see my family after 21 years. Thank you attorney Bhakhri. LOL.

Veteran Lawyer Who Knows What He Is Doing...When He Replies

I was deportation hearings back in 2009. I saw Ashwani at a social gathering and he said he could help me out and review my case. When we met the next week at his Burlingame office, he was sincere in offering his advice- that it was not going to be an easy case. He said, over and over, that this will... be tough based on what the INS was stating. He mentioned to me my options were to fight the case and expect a decision in 1-2 years depending on the court's schedule. If the ruling was unfavorable, there were multiple appeals available to me. The appeals would not come cheap, but they had proven to be successful with some other cases he had worked. I appreciated his honesty and I was impressed by his communication skills and experience. After thinking about it for a week, I came back to his office and I paid him the retainer and signed his paperwork. Prior to choosing Ashwani, I had checked with 2 other attorneys as well, but Ashwani was very comfortable explaining my options to me and his calm demeanor was what I was seeking. Over the next 1.5 years, Ashwani and his staff attending my court hearings (although sometimes I must say they were late) and they prepared for my final hearing and official interviews. The only downside to working with Ashwani is highlighted in other reviews - his office staff is not very courteous or responsive, and they often can be heard yelling on the phone. As an proactive client, I used to call and email for updates, but I was rarely given a meaningful response. Instead, I was promised a call back, or an email back, but never got it. I used to leave voicemails but often times I was told that no one got the voicemail. Sometimes, the secretary used to yell at me over the phone when I used to simply ask what was going on with this form, or why was this paper mailed to me. Instead of being interested in helping me over the phone, I used to get scolded for asking a simple question or asking to speak with Ashwani. I realized after a couple of months that this was just how they operated. In hindsight I was probably not treated that well as a client, but the overall result was favorable. Ashwani and his team were able to get the deportation charges waived, and we did not even have to appeal. I would tell everyone who is reading this to not expect stellar service, response or any courtesy updates. If you're focused on that, you should see another attorney. But, if you want someone with experience and someone who knows how to navigate a tough immigration case, then I would recommend Ashwani Bhakhri. He is a good thinker, attentive, and has lots of experience as he showed in my case. Thank you, Ashwani, for your help. I do recommend you to step up with the customer service area but thank you, again, for winning my case.

NO ONE BETTER THAN MR. BHAKHRI

I came to the United States 1998. I applied for asylum in the United States. I retained the Law Offices Mr. Sekhon. The Immigration Judge denied my application for asylum. The Board of Immigration denied my application for asylum. Then I went to 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. The 9th Circuit Couert of... Appeals also denied my appeal. I then retained the Law Offices of Martin Guarado in San Francisco. He was not able to do anything for me. I paid him thousands of dollars. I was placed on Intensive Supervised Program. I had to report to the Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) every week. ICE was waiting for my travel document to come in order to execute the final order of removal. I then retained the Law offices of Ashwani K. Bhakhri. He helped me. He convinced the Department of Homeland Security to join in a Motion to Reopen. Now my case is coming back to the Immigration Judge for adjustment of status. I admitted to the department of Homeland Security that certain portion of my asylum application was fabricated. I thank Mr. Bhakhri to encourage me to tell the truth. None other than Mr. Bhakhri ever encouraged or even ask me to tell the truth. I am now hopeful to remain in the United States with my elderly mother. I admire Mr. Bhakhri's skill, knowledge and professionalism. He is not one of the best; rather he is the best. Thanksssssssssssssssssssssss.
