Brigit Monica Kavanagh

Hello and thank you for reading about me! I am fortunate to work with nonrprofit and tax exempt organizations and their charitable donors all day every day. I am honored to be able to play some small part in helping good intentions become realities. 

My firm provides sophisticated and cost-effective counsel to nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations and their charitable donors. We focus on the tax and governance issues unique to the nonprofit sector, and work with private foundations, public charities, and other nonprofits, such as social welfare organizations and trade associations. We also advise donors and charities on charitable giving matters such as charitable remainder trusts, charitable gift annuities, gift agreements, pledges, and endowments. Collectively, my law partner and I bring over three decades of experience to the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors.

My firm has been virtual since inception, so the "work from home" pandemic thing was just business as usual for us. 

We offer flat fees for formations (see our website for more information) and otherwise bill hourly. We do what we can to keep costs low (like not having expensive downtown San Francisco office space) and pass those savings on to you. 

I was raised on a farm in Central Virignia and bring a good old farm style work ethic to my virtual office every day.
