was involved in a car accident in 2008 and hired Roxana to help me though the process of reaching a settlement with the at-fault insurance company. This was my first time going through a lawsuit and was pretty intimidated. Roxana was great to work with, she is very knowledgeable when it comes to pers...onal injury cases. I was impressed from the get-go. There were some complications regarding jurisdiction that needed to be handled in a timely manner in order to file within the statutory time limit. She knew exactly what to do to insure that we filed the lawsuit in time and that we wouldn't have any issues with jurisdiction. As this was my first experience hiring an attorney and being involved in a lawsuit in any capacity. I had a lot of questions and she was always there to answer them, and quickly at that. We went through mediation and it proved to be unsuccessful, which was a huge disappointment to me. Even though Roxana warned that it was likely to not yield the results we were looking for, I was still optimistic about the possibility we could settle. This was the first time that I had seen him "in action" and I felt I was in great hands. When it came time for the defendant's attorney to take my deposition i was very nervous, to say the least. Roxana did everything she could to make me feel at ease. I met with her the afternoon prior to discuss what I should expect. As awful as the all-day deposition was, it was clear that Roxana was fully engaged, assertive and my advocate. Roxana was able to gauge the where the other side was very accurately all along. When it came time to see experts in order to prepare for the trial, she spent a lot of time researching who would be best for my case. I absolutely loved all of the experts that I met with. They were all friendly, extremely professional and of utmost importance, knowledgeable and well-respected in their fields of practice. Thanks to Roxana's diligence and thoroughness it was brought to light that as a result of the accident I sustained traumatic brain injury. I had not been evaluated for this prior to meeting with the experts. This proved to be a crucial part of my case. After our trial date was set, the defendant started to stall and Roxana was all over it, she knew exactly how to read the situation and had a plan of attack. The plan worked, we ended up in a second round of mediation, and that time it brought us very close to reaching a settlement. Negotiations continued via phone after mediation ended and about 2 weeks later my case had settled. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the outcome. Not only had my case settled for a price that I felt was fair, I had also avoided going to trial which was a HUGE relief. I can't recommend Roxana highly enough. She is fierce when it comes to his interactions with the opposing side, yet she also knows when to keep things amiable. I felt supported, guided and informed though the entire process.

From the very beginning, I was hesitant to take legal matters. My situation was a stressful one considering the fact that I was also pregnant and I was clueless on how to pursue the matter. Once I met with Roxana and Nico, I was at better ease with everything. They gave me all the information I neede...d to be informed and advised me on different scenarios I may face. Roxana kept me informed at every aspect of my case. She was very personable and was definitely looking after my best interest. I believe that her reccomendations were very appropriate and knowledgable. I will definitely refer their practice to anyone who needs some legal assistance.
