Robert Dizon Ponce

Rob was referred to me by the Monterey County Bar Association so I figured I would be in good hands. And I was. He was very attentive during the process and kept me involved the whole time so I would know the whats and the whys of what was happening. He secured a fair amount for my injury and I wo...uld be happy to refer ( and have ) to anyone who needs a PI attorney.

I was rear ended by a truck almost two and a half years ago. The accident left me with temporary and mild permanent damage to my body. We approached Rob in Monterey to take our case so we can receive compensation for the accident I had sustained. Rob was very professional, remembered all information ...I had talked with him about the accident, such as dates, police reports, medical information, etc. and was very easy to talk with. He also explained everything with detail and made it easy to understand what was going on. Thanks to his professionalism we were able to settle the case and receive compensation from the accident.

Ponce is so unprofessional. I have never dealt with an Attoney in this magnitude. . I tried every tactic Kindness, finally I spoke to him the way he spoke to me. Ponce is an angry man. He talks over you and Sooo Rude! I gave him all the information/ did my own record finding and more .. basically di...d not do his job . I was hit by a car May 11th 2018 and his still can’t remember the date. . I would stay far away from this Guy! He only has his Best Interest at Heart and sorry to say he is a losers Ponce has an excuse for everything oh it’s the Holidays, Oh my assistant Matt is sick oh now his grandmother is sick. Excuses after Excused. . He can’t even remember when I was hit by a car while walking. And I have spoken to many local people because he wasn’t doing his job and I can’t believe what negative responses from this troll. I will be contacting the BB.

I was broad sided driver side by a red light runner and someone recommended that I file a lawsuit. I had no experience in this area, and was referred originally to an attorney who advised me I didn't have much of a case, and who basically did nothing. As time went by and I was approaching the deadl...ine to file, I thought more about it and decided to seek other counsel. I was referred to Rob Ponce by another attorney and was very pleased from the beginning. Rob was also very personable, respectful toward my husband and myself, and as we got to know him better, we found him to be a smart and engaging person. He was always very honest and forthright with me about my case, laying out options and potential and giving me the ability to make the decisions about our approach. It took a bit of time, but we ultimately settled in arbitration, which I was grateful for - I didn't relish going to court, and the final settlement I felt was fair. Overall, I would absolutely work with Robert again, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for representation in this kind of case. I feel that he is a true expert, is forthright and fair, and can be forceful when it is necessary (a desirable attribute in an attorney.)

I've hired Robert Ponce on a few cases since he was recommended by a friend. He's always been very rude, short tempered, and very disrespectful towards me over the phone until my husband intervenes. I don't know if he feels the cases I have aren't worth a lot of money to him so he constantly put our ...cases on the back burner until it was crunch time to meet the deadline then he was blowing us up to get in his office to sign forms. On several occasions I had to get medical info/paperwork/documents for him yet I thought that's what I hired him and his office for. He's very unorganized and was always losing my documents then would state I never gave the forms/pictures to him. He is very difficult to work with and has no consideration for his clients feelings. He refuses to listen to you when you talk to him and gets angry really fast. On several occasions he has rudely hung up the phone on us. He constantly would tell us what our cases were worth and encourage us to go for the max amount then last minute he wanted us to just take what they offer and not continue to try to take the case to court. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. I'm very disappointed that I chose him to represent my family. I'm sure he's stressed but you do not take your aggression out on your clientele. People go to Robert Ponce to represent them not to be belittled and verbally abused by some arrogant, mean, rude lawyer who thinks you owe him. I'm very upset that I chose him as a lawyer and will never hire him again!
