As a litigation attorney for almost 30 years, I've seen access to the legal system become so expensive that it can be beyond the reach of many.

It's more important than ever for lawyers to be strategic and cost-conscious in representing clients, to achieve the best possible result at a reasonable cost. This need is something I am acutely aware of at all stages of advising my clients. I offer a variety of fee options, including flat-fee contracts and contingency (percentage) fees, and I educate my clients from the beginning about the potential cost of handling their case. I believe strongly in mediating disputes whenever possible, both before and during litigation. Mediation lets you control the case outcome instead of leaving it up to a judge or jury. It's also confidential. I am certified as a mediator and give generously of my time as a volunteer mediator to the local court.

My clients are average people, individuals and small business owners, who find themselves needing legal services in cases involving family inheritances; evictions; debt collection; injuries caused by others including car accidents; and landlord-tenant disputes. Many of my former clients remain my friends to this day, and I am honored that they refer their friends and family to me.
