In 1985, Mr. Rosen was first certified as a Criminal Law Specialist by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. He has been re-certified as a Criminal Law Specialist in 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2010. "Specialization is more important in criminal law than any other field," according to Mr. Rosen, "because there is so much at stake--the client's liberty."
Mr. Rosen is a passionate advocate for medical marijuana. He believes that no one deserves jail for Marijuana. He is a member of the NORML Legal Committee.

Dissatisfied
Unprofessional, evasive, used me. Mr. Rosen accepted a large fee to defend me with two lawyers, himself and a now suspended H. Antler. At the last minute he reneged, saying that only he would defend me. I took a plea deal for a life sentence because of the loss of half of my legal team, contingent...
