Remarkable Defense Attorney

I felt like my life was over resulting from a terrifying encounter with the police in which I was charged with resisting arrest and two counts of battery while already on probation. After finding it surprisingly difficult to simply communicate with a public defense attorney and being told by that pub...lic defense attorney that my best option was to either go to trial and face a possible year in jail or take a plea for a full 3 months of jail time without the possibility of a program like work alternative or home confinement, I decided to seek the help of a good attorney that could make the time to prioritize my case. I searched the Internet for the best reviewed attorney in Monterey County. I was very fortunate to find James Dozier. Mr. Dozier gave me peace of mind throughout the rest of my ordeal. He is honest, extremely competent, and has an approachable and friendly personality. With many years of experience as a trial lawyer, it was easy to trust mr. Dozier could present me a better outcome. After carefully communicating the details of my situation with the district attorney, mr. Dozier was able to offer me a deal for half the time I was previously offered and the much preferred option of home confinement. No longer faced with the looming-unbearable prospect of spending a lengthy period of time in jail, I now feel I can continue my life in a healthy and productive way. I would highly recommend James Dozier to anyone in need of an excellent defense attorney.

The moment Jim walked into the court room my case was already won

I hired Jim to deal with a ticket that I suspected was given without the proper jurisdiction by a campus police officer. Jim wowed me with his professionalism both in court and outside of court. He was prepared to the nines when he walked into court and beforehand we had gone over the case law th...at was on my side. My case was heard towards the end of the session and I was able to observe and assess the other attorneys that were there on behalf of their clients. They honestly paled in comparison to Jim Dozier and I'm not big on giving compliments to tell you the truth. Jim had presence, confidence and he felt completely at ease in the court room. He just hit it out of the ball park with his preparation for this case and as a result my case was dismissed. The police officer was in disbelief that he didn't have the authority to have given me the ticket where he did. He sat down with Jim afterwards to understand how this case law affected him and how he was supposed to act in the future. I found out that Jim is into surfing so one could say that he is used to swimming with sharks both in and outside of court. Thank you Jim for going out of your way in helping me. You are a master at your craft.
