Biography
I am a trial attorney whose focus is insurance coverage and bad faith. My practice areas include liability insurance and property insurance, errors and omissions insurance, title insurance, and disability insurance. In addition to over 25 jury trials, I have also tried numerous bench trials involving breach of contract and declaratory relief. My trial practice has taken me from the federal courts to county courts throughout the San Joaquin Valley. I have also handled appeals in the California Supreme Court, the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Fresno, and the U.S. Ninth Circuit. I am Chair of the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Practice Group at McCormick Barstow, have co-authored six treatises published by CEB, and have been selected as a Northern California "Super Lawyer" in Insurance Coverage each year since 2008.
