Rhonda Stern Murphy

I hired Rhonda Stern to represent me in a restraining order, child custody and divorce case. I spent over $44,000 with Ms.Stern and after about a year and a half with her had to fire her and retain a new attorney. Ms. stern would delay my case over and over and charged me until she almost drained me ...of money. I accomplished absolutely nothing with Rhonda and after almost two years had to start over. Rhonda took advantage of me during my most stressful time in my life. She would tell me “trust her” anytime I asked questioned. She agreed to drop my restraining order without my consent or knowledge. Anytime I don’t do exactly what she said she threatened to quit on my case. She once tried to quit my case 2hrs before showing up to a scheduled court hearing. She is the most unprofessional professional I’ve ever experienced in my life. She has her paralegal Erin doing most of her work and she’s not very bright. If you’ve been victim of Rhonda’s manipulation, price gouging, rude, narcissistic behavior please contact me.. Rhonda appears to support women but in reality she’s an opportunist, hunting vulnerable women during their most vulnerable moments in their life. If you’re looking for a reliable attorney to truly help you, look into Chris Rusca or Mary Alayla, anyone other than Murphy Law! Please do yourself a favor and do your research. In my opinion she is the worse attorney I’ve ever dealt with. 0/10

She postpones. Says she notifies court when she will not be available. Says she will file motion after motion when in fact she does not. Her secretary is very dry can tell she dislikes her job. Rhonda just tells you what you want to hear. She’s more worried about being a TikTok famous. I’ve had other... people who used her and said the same thing.

Rhonda has been handling my divorce and child custody case for years now. She is very smart and sharp in the court room. Any time I have a question her or her staff is always there to answer me.
