Rachel Gonzalez Mahoney

I am proud to be a third-generation attorney at the firm founded by my grandfather, Curtis Cole. I am a certified specialist in workers’ compensation law.

I began my career in law by working at the firm, when I was in high school. During my last two years of school, I clerked at our firm, participating in depositions, settlement conferences and legal writing. This experience allowed me to hit the ground running. Since joining the firm as an attorney in 2012, I have handled hundreds of appearances and settlements for the firm, while building my own caseload along the way. I knew Cole, Fisher, Cole, O'Keefe + Mahoney is where I wanted to be based on the firm’s reputation, and the family history it represents for me.

I am a member, and past Central Valley chapter Vice President, of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA), an organization of attorneys who represent those injured at work.

A graduate of San Joaquin Memorial High School, I obtained my B.A. degree from U.C. Santa Barbara and proceeded to San Joaquin College of Law. Being chosen as a George A. Hopper Moot Court Competition Best Oral Advocate Finalist, I went on to represent the school at a state-wide competition.

As a partner attorney, I strive to further the firm’s long-standing reputation as one of the foremost law firms in central California specializing in workers’ compensation and Social Security disability matters.
