Mr. Whitney has been with McCormick Barstow since 1978. During that time he has tried over 50 cases in both state and federal court, has represented attorneys before the State Bar, has been appointed an arbitrator in the Fresno County Superior Court Judicial Arbitration Program, is a former member of Mandatory Fee Advisory Committee to the State Bar, is a past participant evaluator in the Early Neutral Evaluation Program for the United States District Court, Eastern District of California and is a member of the American Arbitration Association panel of arbitrators. Mr. Whitney also has substantial appellate experience having argued several matters before both the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Court of Appeal for the Fifth Appellate District of California. Mr. Whitney is certified as a specialist in Legal Malpractice Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
