Michelle spent the past 16 years representing employers in a wide variety of employment and labor law matters. After graduating from U.C. Davis, School of Law, Michelle practiced employment law in the San Francisco Bay Area at large employment law firms. Michelle represented Silicon Valley clients in employment-related litigation and provided counseling on all aspects of human capital management.
Michelle left the Bay Area for the Central Valley where she enjoyed a distinguished career as a Deputy Attorney General, representing state government agencies in employment-related litigation. Before founding CoreHR, Michelle served as in-house counsel and primary consultant for a national HR consulting firm.
Michelle's public speaking and training experience is extensive. Michelle has conducted training seminars for national franchise businesses, such as Subway and 7-Eleven. Michelle has also been a featured panel member for Employment Practice Liability conferences for the Chicago chapter of Lloyd's of London. She also taught Employment Law for the Craig School of Business, California State University, Fresno for 8 years.
Michelle has her B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. She received her law degree from the University of California, Davis, where she graduated Order of Coif.
Michelle is admitted to practice law in California and is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators.
