Biography
Janine Esquivel is the founder of Adiuvo Law Group (). Prior to starting her own practice, Ms. Esquivel worked in both the small and mid-size law firm environments. Ms. Esquivel has helped with the preparation of hundreds of bankruptcy filings. Her past practice experience includes criminal defense and bankruptcy.
Ms. Esquivel grew up in the East Bay Area. She received her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law and her B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from California State University, Hayward. Her law school activities included the Trial Practice Honors Board, Moot Court, and editing the U.C. Davis Business Law Journal. Currently, she is a member the American Bankruptcy Institute. Ms. Esquivel is licensed in both California and Nevada.
Ms. Esquivel is fluent in Spanish. On her spare time, she enjoys chocolate, traveling, and cooking.

Chapter 13
I filed a chapter 13 bankruptcy with Janine in 2010. I met with three other bankruptcy attorneys before I decided to go with Janine.
