Not worth my time

Hired him to defend me in court. Big mistake. Wrote down wrong information. Would take weeks to get a call back. Blamed his mistakes on his assistants and even on me. He never showed up to court until it was too late. Had absolutly no respect for his client and he even threw the reason why I needed a... lawyer in my face! Fired his ass and got my money back. He even tried to keep $150 for his troubles of going to court representing OTHER clients but me and calling it fair. Will NEVER go back to him for any reason. Would have given him a zero on rating but couldn't.

I am grateful for the criticisms that are voiced above. The rules of professional conduct forbid any case specific response. Enough to say that happy attorney-client relationships are at the core of my 19 years of successful defense of persons accused of crime. I would say I'll try harder. But given the level of attention I pay to my clients, most of whom have my personal telephone number, that I answer, myself, that isn't really possible. This kind of critique is very unfamiliar. So, best wishes to the writer, and sincerely hoping that they indeed will not have future occasion to seek (or heed) legal counsel.
