Raymond Hoyt Allen

As Senior Counsel at the Stein-Conaway Law Firm, I defend clients in a wide range of criminal matters, including DUI cases, domestic violence allegations, misdemeanors, and serious felony charges in San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria courts.

Since being admitted to the California Bar in 2000, I have represented clients at every stage of the criminal process, from investigation through jury trial, and have completed 63 jury trials. In addition to my legal practice, I have served as a professor at the San Luis Obispo College of Law, teaching courses in torts and legal writing. I value the opportunity to mentor future attorneys and contribute to the legal profession.

I am an active member of the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association and have written on legal topics affecting California residents, including criminal law and constitutional rights. I previously served on the Board of Directors of the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association, including as Editor of the Bar Bulletin, the Association's legal journal.
