Khouloud Elmasri Pearson

I began my legal career as a prosecutor in New Mexico litigating an array of criminal cases including racketeering, drug trafficking, violent crimes, and juvenile delinquency and received a nomination for rookie of the year. I also have experience in civil litigation including areas of business law, contract negotiations, personal injury, and employment law, as well as, extensive knowledge in Administrative Law.

I am passionate about giving back to the community and has served as the attorney coach for the Alamogordo High School Mock Trial Team and the presiding judge for the Otero County teen court program. I also served as a board member for the Otero County Superior Court Community Service Board and spent two years as an executive member of the local bar association serving as Vice President and President. I currently serve as a member of the board of directors for the San Luis Obispo Legal Assistance Foundation.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from San Diego State University in 2007 where I served as Vice President of External Affairs and Chief Communications Officer for the Associated Student Body. I received my law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2013. During law school, I was elected Vice-Chair of Phi Alpha Delta, participated in the Veteran’s Clinic, as well as, the Alternative Dispute Resolution team.

I was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar and the California State Bar. I was also admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court.
