Brian Craig Kreowski

Education:

Brian is an alumnus of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and recieved a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Political Science. Brian possess a Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law, located in San Diego; Brian passed the California Bar in 1992.

Occupation:

Brian established his law practice, the Shell Beach Law Group, in Pismo Beach in 1992. In 2011 he received the Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce "Business of the Year" award. Along with practice of the law, Brian has taught Political Science at Cuesta College, as an adjunct professor, for the past 20 years. Brian teaches courses related to the Constitution and Government of the United States. In 2003 Brian received Cuesta’s Award for Faculty Excellence, and in 2013 he received Cuesta’s student honor society’s Teaching Excellence award.

Political Experience:

Brian was elected and previously honored to serve the voters and residents of San Luis Obispo County as their Harbor Commissioner; he served as Harbor Commissioner for 12 years, twice in the position of President of the Board. In his role and tenure as an elected official he traveled to Sacramento and Washington D.C. to promote the Central Coast and interact with State and Federal agencies and their elected officials, to acquire grants and funds to apply to local infrastructure projects which benefitted his community and improve its quality of life.

Co-founder and Board Member of the Central Coast Aquarium Society.

Co-founder and Board Member of the Dinosaur Caves Preservation Society.

Member of the Board and Past President of the History Center of San Luis Obispo County.

Member of the Board and Past President of the Dana Adobe Nipomo Amigos.

Member of the Board of the Shell Beach Improvement Group.

Member of the Board of Campfire of the Central Coast.

Member of the Board of the Cal Poly Political Science Department Alumni Advisory Board.
