Kimberly Duncan Schroeder

I grew up in a family of lawyers, and although there were some things about the law that interested me, while I was growing up I wasn’t sure that I wanted to go into the “family business.”   However, in my first job after graduating from college, I was able to help a co-worker obtain a restraining order against an abusive boyfriend.  Seeing the power that the law has in the lives of real people changed my perspective and encouraged me to go to law school.  To this day, the thing I love most about practicing law is having the ability to help solve problems and effect change for people.
