I followed my wife to the Central Valley when we decided to return to her hometown of Bakersfield.  I was nervous about leaving Southern California, but have since realized it was one of the best decisions of my life.  It was a matter of months before I was saying “Hi” to acquaintances each time I left the house.  (I did not take this for granted after leaving Los Angeles.)  Since then I have deepened those relationships, added others, and become a member of the Central Valley community.  I find the legal segment of that community equally engaging.  I have the opportunity to work with clients and colleagues who hold their values dear, and lack none of the sophistication one expects from other vibrant regions of our country.  I particularly enjoy being part of the KDG team.  Working in an expert estate planning group that prides itself on responding to client needs and delivering cost‑effective results is a true joy.  The future looks bright for the Central Valley; I am happy to play my part.
