Biography
While I am not a Bakersfield native, I have an agricultural background as I was raised on a small cattle ranch. Bakersfield became my home more than 35-years ago, as I was hired by Clifford & Brown in 1985. My practice is focused primarily on tax sensitive matters, including estate planning and business transactions. I also handle probate and tax litigation. Prior to joining the Clifford & Brown, I was a partner with a law firm in north San Diego County, and I also served an internship with the IRS Office of District Counsel in San Diego.
I am active in a number or local charities, and I currently serve as President for the Southern Sierra Council, Boy Scout of America; on the Board of Trustee for my church; and on the steering committee for the Bakersfield Prayer Breakfast.
I have been married for 46-years. My recreational hobbies include cycling and backpacking.
